Privacy policy

This policy covers the EMBODY³ Academy (embody3.com/academy), the Spoolbert channels and Spoolbert Studio, the internal tool EMBODY³ uses to publish its own videos. EMBODY³ is a trade name of Pabiness BV (VAT BE0827502050). Questions: hello@embody3.com. Last updated 2026-10-21.

YouTube API Services

Spoolbert Studio uses YouTube API Services to upload, schedule and manage videos, subtitles, thumbnails and playlists on our own YouTube channel. By using any part of the Academy or our channels you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google processes data under the Google Privacy Policy.

Spoolbert Studio is used only by EMBODY³ staff and only signs in to our own Google account. It does not access, collect, store or share data of any other YouTube user. The authorisation token is stored on our own server in Belgium, readable only by the studio, and is never shared. Access can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page; after revocation we delete the token.

TikTok

Spoolbert Studio uses the TikTok Login Kit and Content Posting API to publish our own videos to our own TikTok account, @spoolbert. It reads only that account's basic profile (display name and avatar) and the posting options TikTok offers it, so we can check that the right account is connected. It does not access, collect, store or share data of any other TikTok user. The access token is stored on our own server in Belgium and never shared. TikTok processes data under its Privacy Policy. Access can be revoked at any time in the TikTok app (Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services); after revocation we delete the token.

Website visitors

The Academy works without an account. We store which episodes you watched only in your own browser (local storage). If you join the waiting list, we keep your e-mail address only to tell you about new episodes; the form is processed by Web3Forms. Analytics (Google Analytics) only run after you accept cookies in the banner. Pages that show a YouTube player load it from YouTube, which may set its own cookies under the Google Privacy Policy.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by mailing hello@embody3.com. You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
