Laser engraving
Definition
Laser engraving is permanently applying text, images or markings to a material with a laser beam. Depending on the material and laser, the surface is discoloured, burned away or marked.
From wood and leather to metal: the marking is wear-resistant and doesn't rub off. For bare metal we use a fiber or MOPA laser; for wood and acrylic a diode laser is enough.
