Brim
Definition
A brim is a thin border printed around the first layer of a 3D print to improve adhesion to the print bed. It stops corners from lifting or curling, and is cut off afterwards.
Especially useful for small contact areas with the bed or for warp-prone materials like ABS. A brim is wider than a skirt and does attach to the part.
